Healthy Early Years London Scheme
Working Mums East Sheen participates in the Healthy Early Years London Scheme to develop and promote healthy eating, oral health, physical activity and exercise as a way of life. Having already received the ‘First Steps’ and ‘Bronze’ awards, our team is actively working towards completing the next levels of accreditation.
Two team members at East Sheen are qualified Physical Activity and Nutrition Co-ordinators (PANCo’s) which involves applying knowledge and skills to lead and support change within the setting, liaising with external Health and Education professionals and providing advice and information for parents and carers.
Our Management Team
Victoria Lika, Manager
Victoria is a highly experienced childcare professional working in nurseries since 2000 and in managing a variety of school and private settings since 2002. She has advanced qualifications in childcare such as NNEB, child psychology, child counselling, special educational needs, and is also a Physical Activity and Nutrition Co-ordinator (PANCo). She has managed our nursery in East Sheen since 2018 and instrumental in the continual improvement of its Ofsted rating.
Victoria is devoted to children and their development and is motivated by knowing that children are happy, and stimulated and have made the most of their day, providing them with a home from home feel while at the same time scaffolding their learning and preparing them for their next milestone. She promotes this philosophy in the nursery as a role model, by ensuring that her team receives continuing training and mentoring to develop their skillsets, and by working in partnership with parents and families.
Natalie Chrystie, Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager for Childcare And Learning Group, Natalie has responsibility for supporting and developing the nurseries and pre-schools within the group.
Natalie is a qualified childcare specialist with over 40 years experience working in the childcare industry including many years running individual nurseries for the group. Leading a senior team of three regional managers and a special projects manager, she ensures that nurseries have the facilities, support and training required to meet the group’s own high standards for best practice in childcare.
“We know that Working Mums is only as good as the relationship between our staff and our customers (the big ones and the little ones!) and we plan to continue listening and responding to parents’ needs, quickly and effectively.”
