      MortlakeJenny Gooch - Manager
Jenny joined Working Mums’ in 1992 when the Mortlake setting opened and Working Mums Daycare & Preschool was established. She started off as cover staff after she left school, loved it and realised it was what she wanted to make a career out of. She progressively developed, becoming NVQ3 qualified in early childhood care and education, working with all ages of children and through leadership roles until she became Manager in 2014. Jenny introduced Forest School to Working Mums, being one of the first through the BTec Diploma in Forest School teaching, new to the UK at the time. Jenny has been instrumental in the development of Preschool sessions for children in the year before they go to school, receiving annual feedback from parents and reception teachers on the skills her leavers are taking to their reception classes.

          MortlakeActing Deputy Manager - Sheila
Sheila has had a passion for working with children since she was a teenager. Once she left school, she pursued a career in childcare and qualified to Level Three in Child Development and Education. Sheila is always looking for an opportunity to further her knowledge and skills and not long after the nursery she had been managing in Battersea joined our Working Mums group, Sheila saw an exciting opportunity to move to a new leadership team to experience a different type of nursery setting and leadership. Sheila joins us at Working Mums as Acting Deputy Manager while Manjit is on maternity leave.
